Sony will be releasing a new model of the PS3. It will be 20% smaller and 25% lighter. It will not have a slot-loading optical drive, but will have a disc-tray to replace it. The new PS3 will be available in two models: a 250GB version that will cost $269.99 and a 500GB model that will cost $299.99.
