Brainwave Binocluars

• These binoculars have been under development by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since 2007.
• The binoculars were named the Cognitive Technology Threat Warning System.
• A computer scans a 120-degree field of view.
• From there it sends images of possible threats to a viewfinder for soldiers to look at.
• DARPA says that the Cognitive Technology Threat Warning System has identified 91% of threats in testing.
• Regular binoculars only allowed soldiers to identify 47% of targets.
• The technology is being handed over to the Army's Night Vision Lab.
